Topplebush.com was inspired by the combined outrage and frustration of several good friends and family members with the Bush Administration's blatant corporate cronyism, which became magnified when BushCo invaded Iraq based on lies. We didn't accomplish our mission of removing Bush from office in the 2004 election, partly as a result of frauds committed again by Bush to win this election too. However, we are still dedicated to working now for as long as possible to keep our viewers informed and updated on all future negative consequences we know will result from another four years of the Bush adminstration. We can only take back our country from these greedy, war-mongering, immoral and corrupt bureaucrats by staying informed and attempting to raise the level of discussion by sharing this information with others who aren't.

Mission Statement: We believe our web site is more important now than it was in 2003 when we came into existence. Since the Dems have taken control of Congress, we understand the need to ramp up the pressure on Bush to get us out of Iraq. We need to be present on the Internet to protect you from BushCo and the detrimental political forces he has unleashed.

To maximize Topplebush.com's effectiveness, it is our intention to:

1. Temporarily restructure our web site to regroup and re-strategize short, intermediate, and long term goals.
2. Establish new web site corporate/network (maybe either, or) support and funding sources, while expanding our merchandising.
3. At times, ask YOU for specific assistance and support, to demonstrate our interest in keeping Topplebush.com a democratic, but participatory and all inclusive effort, reflecting OUR concerns.
4. Heighten and enhance our effectiveness as YOUR voice, expressing our continued First Amendment rights. We believe exercising front line Internet exposure is going to become even more critical to 'maintain', due to the expected crackdown of true free speech, and attempted mass-control of the Internet.
5. Add new features we deem necessary to achieve all of these goals.

WHY are we so committed to these goals for our web site readers and supporters? Because the Bush agenda is:

1. Destroying individual freedoms and rights in the name of fighting terrorism.
2. Taking on, and suppressing those who don't go along with their agenda.
3. Dividing and polarizing our country further along socio-economic, racial, religious, and sexually orientated lines. They have targeted the reversal of Roe v.Wade, as just one immediate goal.
4. Destroying safety nets (legal and procedural) that protect the less fortunate from the ravages of large corporations.
5. Destroying the environment to protect the polluter corporations, who financially support and maintain them in power.
6. Starting and waging preemptive wars in violation of international law based on lies told to our citizenry to benefit the military-industrial complex, including the Halliburtons and Bechtels of the U.S.
7. Obliterating the lines that separate church and state.
8. Destroying the economy by running up massive deficits primarily as a result of tax cuts for the richest 1% of Americans and pork barrel spending bills.
9. Unequivocally NOT taking the best care of our troops. Military personnel still need the most basic self-defense and communication conveniences and more and better training.
10. Obliterating our international prestige and role as the "trusted" moral leader of the world.

In addition, we also expect most Americans to be seriously damaged by the privatization of social security, the prior tax cuts being made permanent, and expected extreme right wing appointments to the Federal courts and Supreme Court... and of course, the continuing war in Iraq.

Our concerns here encompass expected expansion of troops needed in Iraq and an "exit strategy" to bring our military home from Iraq.

With the deficit now being used to rationalize their behavior, government programs that help the majority of Americans are being deliberately starved of the monies needed to fund them. We cannot allow this trend to continue.

The Republican Party has been co-opted by its EXTREME RIGHT FUNDAMENTALIST wing. They are now posing under the charade of religious consciousness claiming a moral high ground to the other half of the country not sharing many of the same views. But these Republicans are only beholden to the very rich. It's cronyism run amok. They are taking more and more of this country's wealth for themselves while everyone else shares less and less from the public pot.

We cannot allow these corporate and political crooks to use the system to steal more and more taxpayer money for themselves. To this end, we are committed to the legal, but most expansive and efficient way to politically turn around our wonderful country to allow the continued expression of true debate, and true American Free Speech.
